In August 27, 2000 a large Duvdevan force, comrpised of several teams, attempted to capture the number one terrorist in the Territories - Machmhoud Abu-Hanud. Several mistakes were made during planning and the execution of this raid, resulting in a tragic friendly fire incident, in which three Duvdevan operators were killed from the unit's snipers fire.
